JVSX Project: Leap Forward Program
The purpose of the JVSX Project: Leap Forward Program is to inspire high school students to pursue academic and early career paths within specialized engineering disciplines of Space Study.
Through industry Joint Venture Collaboration (JVC), JVSX provides sponsorship funding to High School STEM-A Education Programs and Science Clubs. This support enables students to explore academic college paths or early entry career opportunities in fields such as:
- Astronautics
- Aerospace Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Space Technology (Space-Tec) Technician
By participating in the JVSX Project: Leap Forward Program, high school students are empowered to embark on exciting journeys in Space Study, equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel in their chosen disciplines.
PROJECT LEAP FORWARD STUDENT BENEFITS
JVSX Aerospace Academy’s sponsorship-funded Project: Leap Forward Program offers your High School and its students the following benefits:
- JVSX Academy-LMS provides your High School, STEM-A Program Leader/Teacher, and Student classes [ K9 – K12 ] with full web membership access to our exclusive JVSX Space Study Courseware.
- JVSX Space Study Courseware is designed to align with your High School’s Academic curriculum and to support your STEM-A H.S. Program and H.S. Science Club.
- JVSX Space Study Courseware lessons teach H.S. Students the fundamental principles and applicational use of:
- Electronics, computers, software programming, embedded control systems (ECS), tele-robotics, A.I., VR/AR systems, Space Science, Earth Science, and Space Systems Technology, such as: rocketry, propulsion, satellite remote-sensing, satellite RF communications, EVA spacesuits, orbital & planetary habitats, rovers, heli’s, drones, spacecraft design, spacecraft motion simulators, and so much more.
- Our JVSX Space Study Courseware is used to either:
- Enhance you existing H.S. STEM-A Program/Club, or
- Multiple courses may be combined to provide a unique one-of-a-kind High School Space Study Project to be chosen by your STEM-A H.S. Program Leader/Teacher and H.S. Science Club.
[ Note: All in-person school scheduled JVSX Aerospace Academy ‘Zoom’ course sessions, and JVSX Academy LMS student interactions shall be monitored and supervised by an authorized School Leader/Teacher ].
- JVSX Aerospace Academy’s Project: Leap Forward Program offers STEM-A per-Project sponsorship-funding and provides your High School with more than 100+ STEM-A Projects to choose.
[ Note: Project selection shall depend upon your High School STEM-A curriculum, teacher, student class interest, student attrition, student grades, available indoor/outdoor facility area space, Project milestone completions, and JVSX available funding schedule ]. - JVSX Aerospace Academy teaches H.S. Students to “Explore the Wonder that is Our Universe!”.
How Can My High School Apply to JVSX Sponsorship-funded Project: Leap Forward Program?
There are two (2) methods for your High School to APPLY to JVSX Project: Leap Forward Program:
- Option-1: Use the [ Apply to JVSX Project Leap Forward ] Button shown below. Fill-out the Application Short Form detailing your High School STEM-A Education Program, Science Club activity, and describe your desired H.S. Program/Club Project you are seeking sponsor-funding.
- JVSX Academic Review Committee selection criteria is as follows:
- Existing H.S. Academic Program, H.S. Science Club student interest, desired Program/Club Project and funding needs, curriculum compatibility with JVSX Aerospace Academy’s Space Study Courseware, and industry sponsor interest, available funding and level of collaboration.
- If your High School Program/Club appears to be a good match, then the JVSX CEO will send a ‘personal invitation‘ to the High School’s Principal and Science Club Program Leader/Teacher in an attempt to ‘open a dialog’ to discuss the student learning benefits of joining the JVSX Project: Leap Forward Program.
- JVSX Academic Review Committee selection criteria is as follows:

- Option-2: Your School can send a formal ‘Sponsorship Proposal Request’ for JVSX Academic Committee Review.
- JVSX Academic Review Committee selection criteria is as follows:
- High School Program/Club, curriculum, # of students, facility inside/outside area space, your funding needs, desired Program/Club Project, compatibility with JVSX Project: Leap Forward Space Study Courseware.
- JVSX Academic Review Committee selection criteria is as follows:
Please use the [ Submit Sponsor Proposal Request ] button below, fill-out all requested fields. Your High School may be selected to Join the JVSX Sponsorship-funded Project: Leap Forward Program.
JVSX PROJECT: LEAP FORWARD (PLF) PROGRAM: HIGH SCHOOL MEMBERSHIP
HIGH SCHOOL MEMBERSHIP: TEACHER ADMIN ACCOUNT & STUDENT ACCOUNTS
Once your High School Program/Science Club has been Approved to ‘JOIN’ the JVSX Project: Leap Forward Program, your High School Membership shall provide (2) two types of authorized ‘Register/Log-in’ Membership Accounts:
- High School ‘Teacher Admin’ Account (Exclusive Membership, only one per High School Account).
- High School ‘Student’ Accounts (Exclusive Membership, one per each student listed in Class Roster).
CREATE HIGH SCHOOL ‘TEACHER ADMIN’ ACCOUNT
Now that your High School has been Approved to ‘JOIN’ the JVSX Project: Leap Forward (PLF) Program, the JVSX Admissions Dept shall send to H.S. Teacher a ‘JVSX Admissions Email’, containing:
- JVSX Welcome and Congratulations message.
- Teacher Admin Register/Log-In Credential.

The High School’s Principal pre-approves and assigns their own designated H.S. Program Leader/Teacher, who is to perform as the H.S. Program/Club & Project’s Principal Investigator (PI).

Note: A Principal Investigator (PI) is the individual(s) the High School Principal designates as the Program Leader/Teacher who has been given an appropriate level of authority and responsibility for the proper conduct of: the Program/Club & Project, student memberships, student research, assignments performed, and grades achieved, and includes: the appropriate Program Use of Sponsorship-funding awarded to the H.S. Program/Project and its administrative requirements, such as: the submission of H.S. Program/Club & Project Progress Reports to the Sponsor, and validation of Student Assignments contributing to Project Schedule Milestone Completion in accordance with the JVSX – H.S. Sponsorship Agreement (SA).

The H.S. Principal Investigator (PI): Program Leader/Teacher is provided a JVSX LMS ‘Teacher Admin’ Account to oversee student academic progress, and to coordinate with JVSX Academy to validate Project Schedule milestone completions. JVSX Admissions Dept shall send an email to H.S. PI/Teacher their uniquely assigned and authorized JVSX ‘Teacher Admin’ Username & Password credential, as shown below:
Example: Welcome Aboard Aldrin High School. Congratulations! Aldrin High School has been selected to join the JVSX Project: Leap Forward Program. Aldrin High School’s appointed Principal Investigator (PI): Program Leader/Teacher is Matthew Hawkins. The JVSX authorized and assigned ‘Teacher Admin’ Register/Log-in Account credential is as follows:
- H.S. Name: Aldrin High School
- JVSX HS-ID: 57

Please use only the JVSX Admissions Email Register/Log-in Account credential provided to create your ‘Teacher Admin’ Account, as the JVSX Academy LMS will delete any other unauthorized credential.
NOTE: If you believe your ‘Teacher Admin’ Account credential has been compromised, lost, or simply forgotten, then email JVSX Tech-Support to have a new ‘Teacher Admin’ Register/Log-in credential created and activated for your use.
H.S. TEACHER ADMIN ACCOUNT: REGISTER/LOG-IN SETUP PROCEDURE
Please connect to the internet, and visit the JVSX Aerospace Academy at:
From the JVSX Aerospace Academy Home page: Move your mouse pointer to the top Main Menu Ribbon, and locate the top-right [ Get Started ] Button. Now, mouse left-click to select and execute the ‘create your new JVSX ‘Teacher Admin’ Register/Log-in Account. A pop-up Dialog Window will now appear, ENTER your unique authorized and assigned JVSX ‘Teacher Admin’ credential, as previously provided within your JVSX Admissions Email (as shown in Example above).
H.S. TEACHER ADMIN ACCOUNT: CREATE STUDENT ROSTER FOR JVSX MEMBERSHIPS
Once the ‘Teacher Admin’ Account is active, the Teacher is required to send a ‘Student Class Roster’ Email to JVSX Admissions containing a complete ‘Student Class Roster’ listing ONLY those students to be enrolled within the JVSX Project: Leap Forward (PLF) Program.

Once the Teacher Admin’s ‘Student Class Roster’ has been received, the JVSX Admissions Dept shall respond with a Reply Email entitled, “High School ‘X’ Student Class Roster: Authorized JVSX Account Credentials”. The JVSX Admissions Reply Email to the Teacher Admin shall include instructions to: individually distribute to each student ONLY their uniquely assigned JVSX ‘Student Username & Password’ Register/Log-in Membership Credential.

For Example, the JVSX Admissions ‘School Student Class Roster’ Accounts – Replay Email shall designate a unique JVSX assigned ‘Student User Name & Password’ Credential to be distributed to each student by the Teacher Admin, as follows:

H.S. TEACHER ADMIN ACCOUNT: PRIVILEDGES & RESPONSIBILTY
Each High School is provided only one ‘Teacher Admin’ Account, unless otherwise pre-arranged per JVSX-High School Sponsorship Agreement (SA).

Note: Please carefully safe-guard your personal Teacher Admin Register/Log-in Credentials. Do NOT share your TEACHER account credentials with any other School Teacher(s), School Staff, or School Students, as your TEACHER Admin Account has privilege access to private and confidential Student personal information.

As a JVSX Academy Project: Leap Forward H.S. Program Leader/Teacher, your ‘Teacher Admin’ account provides you full access to privileged student Confidential Information (CI) and the responsibility to safeguard this information, according to the mutually signed ‘JVSX-Aldrin H.S. Sponsorship Agreement (SA)’.

As an example, your JVSX Academy ‘Teacher Admin’ account provides you access to the following Student-CI data:
- H.S. Student Class Roster.
- Student submitted Homework assignments.
- Teacher’s Exam Master Answer Key.
- All Student Exam Results.
- Teacher’s Quiz Master Answer Key.
- All Student Quiz Results.
- School Project: Progress, Milestone Status, and Grades.
- All Student Course and/or Project Grades.
- JVSX Astro-Scholar Student GPA Rankings.

Note: If additional TEACHER Accounts are needed, then please contact: JVSX Academy’s CEO to make the necessary arrangements to ADD-ON one or more TEACHER Accounts, and to amend the original ‘JVSX-Aldrin H.S. Sponsorship Agreement (SA)’.
H.S. TEACHER ADMIN ACCOUNT: CREATE A ‘NEW COURSE’ OPTION
The JVSX ‘Teacher Admin’ Account provides you with the privilege and option to ‘Create a New Course’ which can be Hosted on the JVSX Academy-LMS, to be made available to your students. Once your ‘New Course’ Content is entered successfully into the online JVSX Academy-LMS using the New Course Form page, the Teacher Admin can ‘Submit New Course’ for JVSX Committee Review & Approval.

The JVSX Committee Review & Approval Board may take one or more of the following actions:
- JVSX Committee Approves the Teacher Admin’s New Course ‘AS-IS‘, then it will be made available to only your School’s Student Class Roster [ current JVSX members].
- JVSX Committee determines ‘further correction changes are required’ to be made to the Teacher Admin’s New Course, which may include: web page Course re-formatting, Course Content additions or deletions, Course Images to be replaced (no copyright infringement allowed), Course Multimedia shortened/extended, or the associated New Course ‘Project Build Kit’ modified to include: BOM, Parts List with availability/substitution, Parts List cost reduction, etc.. In this case, the Teacher Admin shall be notified to make the appropriate New Course corrections for Review re-submittal.
- JVSX Committee does not Approve the Teacher Admin’s New Course, as a result it will not be made available to Students on the JVSX Academy-LMS. In this case, JVSX Committee shall discuss the New Course at length with the Teacher Admin in an attempt to resolve any issues preventing its release.
